In our company, your core responsibilities include:
- Creation, editing and management of technical manuals (hardware and software) for service staff on our complex assemblies and prober systems
- Preparation of operating and maintenance manuals for specific target groups
- Preparation of training documents
- Development of documentation requirements, e.g. by participating in meetings of the development department and evaluating change notifications
- Independent supervision of documentation projects and ensuring that they are implemented on schedule and in line with processes
- Researching technical facts in parts lists, drawings, CAD models, maintenance plans and online help and verifying them on the product
- Verification of created instructions on the product
- Conducting training courses (hardware and software) for service employees at the Thiendorf site and, if possible, also in the USA (San Jose, California)
- Close cooperation with colleagues from all departments as well as our external documentation service provider
- Close cooperation especially with the development department to improve our products and ensure serviceability
What you should bring with you:

You have a degree or training in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable technical fields.

Proven professional experience in technical editing/documentation, ideally in mechanical engineering and plant construction.

Very good skills in MS Word (working with document templates and styles)

Good skills of image and video editing is desirable

Good practical, technical skills (e.g. replacing parts etc.)

Good command of German and English, both written and spoken is mandatory.

Experience as a technical trainer in an international environment is desirable.

Good skills in photography and video editing are desirable.

Must be willing travel approximately 1 week each quarter to perform training at customer locations.

Candidate should be able to commute independently to the office.
